French Toast Sticks with Banana-Peanut Butter Dip

This recipe is perfect for a breakfast in minutes. Use prepared French toast, or make your own and freeze it in a zipper-lock bag.

Ingredients:
1 ripe, medium banana
2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1 cup low-fat, vanilla yogurt
2 teaspoons cinnamon sugar
8 slices prepared French toast

1. Mash banana with a fork in a small bowl.
2. Stir in peanut butter and mix well. Stir in yogurt and cinnamon sugar.
3. Heat French toast. Cut each slice into four sticks.
4. Enjoy with dip.

Classroom Cooking Tips:

  • For peanut butter allergies, peanut butter can be omitted or use a low-fat, fruit-flavored yogurt.
  • You can purchase prepared cinnamon sugar in the supermarket spice aisle or blend 1/4 cup granulated sugar with 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
