Taco Munch
Have students help to prepare this easy recipe for
your holiday party. It's nutritious, and kids love it!
6 cups popped, unsalted popcorn
3 cups toasted cereal squares
1 cup mini-pretzels
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2-3 teaspoons dry, low-sodium taco seasoning
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded, low-fat Cheddar cheese
1. Wash hands.
2. Combine popcorn, cereal squares and pretzels in a
large bowl.
3. Melt butter. Combine butter and taco seasoning in
a small bowl and drizzle over popcorn mixture.
4. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Toss to coat.
5. Refrigerate in a covered container.
6. Just before serving, add shredded Cheddar cheese
and toss.
