Valentine's Day Banana Split Pizza
Surprise children with this fun, nutritious and delicious pizza! It's perfect for Valentine's Day parties. Bake the tortillas, make the pudding and slice the fruit ahead of time and let children assemble their own.
4 medium-size flour tortilla
Cooking spray
1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
1 1/2 cups lowfat milk
Optional: Red food coloring, optional
2 medium bananas, sliced
1 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
Optional: 1/4 cup chocolate topping
1. Place tortillas on a large baking sheet. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray. Bake in 375 degree F oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from the oven and cool.
2. Place pudding mixture in a medium-size bowl. Measure milk and add it to the pudding mix. Mix it with a whisk until it is smooth. For pink pudding, add two drops of red food coloring and mix well. Set aside until it thickens.
3. Wash strawberries and pat dry with paper towel. Remove stems and slice the strawberries using a plastic knife.
4. Peel bananas and cut into slices.
5. Spread pudding over each tortilla. Arrange strawberry and banana slices on top of pudding. Drizzle with about a tablespoon of chocolate topping if desired.
6. Enjoy!
