Funds for Healthy Eating
|
Funds for Fuel Up to Play 60 are offered to support sustainable changes to the school wellness environment. To get funding, your plan must consist of both Healthy Eating and Physical Activity Plays. Healthy Eating Plays are strategies to increase student access to (and selection of) nutrient-rich foods on the school menu. Plays include ideas for breakfast at school, cafeteria makeovers, and getting students to taste–and choose–nutrient-rich foods. Connect with your school nutrition department and visit the online Playbook to figure out which Play is best for your school. Then, apply for funding! |
Next Funding Deadline: February 1, 2012
